Yes! Love Arizona. Do you ever get to Tucson? The UofA has a free downloadable audio driving tour that talks about the different hábitats driving up Mount Lemmon. It's a great drive! So nice to reach the cold area during the summer.

True! Good point about Mt Lemmon. We don't go as often to Tucson, but yes, you are absolutely right, driving up Mt Lemmon also takes us through several different habitats. AZ is truly a great state!

What an amalgamation of micro-climates! The photos are lovely. Especially your Sedona photo, Emese. Nice that you can travel within state to get to: rain, heights, and stark rocky beauty.

Thank you, Jeanine! Yes, it's one of the best things about AZ; it's the reason we love our state (and still live here), this variety of different micro-climates and biomes. Never gets old!

I love how you mention the diversity of Arizona. It's really amazing how from the very top of Humphrey's in Flagstaff, to the valley of Phoenix, you can see about seven different life zones/biomes varying on factors like slope aspects, precipitation levels, and temperature!
